What the *Bleep* Are You Waiting on???

My husband and I talk to many Muslims in our local community and we can't believe how many boneheads are out there.  I mean really?  This can't be.  Most responses to the questions of "Are you preparing for an economic collapse or the New Madrid fault line we sitting on top of"? You know the answer? "Oh, Brother (Sister), Allah has me (has my back".  What the???

Ok, yes, Allah has our back, but what are you doing to prepare?  There are so many hadith which points to us taking action and personal responsibility for ourselves.   When you are hungry, food isn't gonna just fall out of the sky. When Allah allowed Iblis to test Ayub (Job) (AS), Allah told Ayub (AS) to "Prepare yourself for a great test." Whenever the Nabi Muhmammad (SAW) went into battle, he told the Muslims to prepare themselves and make themselves strong to go into battle. Didn't the Nabi Muhammad (SAW) say that every man should teach his family to shoot an arrow, ride a horse and to swim?  Is this not being prepared?  Before you make Hajj, Brothers, shouldn't you have prepared at least a year's worth of sustenance for your family??? At least be mentally and spiritually prepared. I mean some of you aren't even following the basic tenets of Islam and you think you'll be spiritually strong enough to just make it by reciting Allah's name??? Give me a break.  You've got to be a new fool to think like this.  Why do you think Allah has given us prophecy? So we can tell people I knew that was gonna happen? I mean for real, have Muslims become so trifling and complacent that you won't even prepare something for your children to have during hard times.  Is your 2-year old going to understand SubhanAllah and La Illaha Il Allah, Allahu Akbar, when he or she's crying and dying from starvation, which is a most torturous way to die???

I look at my brothers and sisters in disbelief.  You are eating today, if your faith was just that strong, just stop eating and say oh Allah has me and see how long that lasts.  Allah has commanded us to NOT kill ourselves, so what do you think not preparing is when you can see you are face with an eminent collapse?  You know this is going to happen and all the conditions are ripe for it to happen at any time.  Did you not learn anything at all from the warnings, lesson, signs, ayats of Hurricane Katrina, or are you too sheeple who think it cannot happen to you.  Or, even worse, are you so caught up in the Dunya (world) that you believe life will always be as you know it to be.  Do you not think Allah's words are true, do you not think Allah will send his wrath to places where you live?

These are the worst kinds of Muslims, the ones who ignore plain warning, sitting on their hands and do nothing.  Ones who see an injustice done and will not open their mouths to speak against it.  People who have been scared into submission to fight and protest for those who don't have a voice. And then, they will be the same ones begging after things change for the worse. These same people who say this today will be the unfaithful ones who resort to all types of haram (sin) to get a meal. When Allah sent the Wrath to an evil city, the Angels said, "but there are righteous people there who pray to You and believe in You", Allah said "begin with them". It was because those "righteous people" didn't forbid the evil and promote the good, so do you honestly believe you will be spared?  Do you honesty believe you can just say you are Muslim and it will be enough?
