How to: Hydroponics

Of all of the methods of gardening, I keep coming back to hydroponics.  Why? Well, it is the most versatile method of garden. People who live in an apartment can do this and when SHTF, you just might need the cover of a apartment to help keep your crops save from thieves.  With the method of hydroponics I use, you can grow food vertically and you don't have to invest in an expensive system to accomplish this.  This method is scalable both up and down which will accommodate both small spaces and larger greenhouses.

Let me say here that if you plan to have a greenhouse during SHTF, you would do better in making it a solid building structure. Rather than using greenhouse film,  it would be better to cover your greenhouse in galvanized sheet metal, like roofing tin.  Also, using a solar, wind or magnet power generator, you can operate grow lights and water pumps. In case you have been successful at drilling a water well, you can also connect this well to your greenhouse using inexpensive 3/4" PVC Pipe and Fittings.  This method will provide water conservation by allowing plants to use only as much water as they actually need.

I can provide with a free diagram of wire and plumbing of your greenhouse, just shoot me an email of your sizing requirements and how many types of veggies you are growing and for how many people.
