A Sad State of Affairs

While listening to my favorite nightly program, Wide Awake Radio with Charlie McGrath, I started crying. Not because I'm afraid of the SHTF, I've always known this was coming and have been always mentally prepared for it's advent, but because so many people are blind and will not even try to see this coming they will be blindsided. I feel for the children of these blind people and the amount of useless suffering that we will witness. I know some people say, don't worry about the folks who are lost, but I just can't help it. I think anyone with half a heart would agree that it will be a very pitiful state to have to watch. The countless deaths because of lawlessness, not just the public's lawlessness, but the deep-rooted evil that we have allowed to strip us of our most basic freedoms and will allow to strip us even more. The sick part about all of this is that it could have been avoided, I believe it could still, to some degree, be avoided, but people are not going to change until the calamity befalls them and sadly, many people will have to die before we are ever human again.

I think about all those innocent babies all over the world, even now they are starving to death, probably THE cruelest way to die. And all we can do is argue over which team is right and what group is wrong. The common enemy to us all is winning and we are making it so easy for him to win. Many of us are just too self-absorbed to see any kind of picture, let alone the "big picture". In these dire times, it's so easy just to give up and crawl into some hole and die. It's so easy to wish we were already dead and it will only get much worse before it ever gets any better. I think most people who believe in the Creator, by what ever name we call the Creator, and that this Creator created all things, all humans, all animals, all life, death and everything in between. So, how can we hate anything that our Creator has created? How can I hate something my Creator cared enough about to bring into existence? Am I saying I know better than my Creator and that my Creator has made a mistake? Am I saying I know better than the One who created me? I have found more religious people from all walks of life, from all faiths hate others because they are the "wrong" color, wear the "wrong" clothes, pray the "wrong" way, have the "wrong" beliefs. I have seen people of all faiths grossly misinterpret their holy books and carry on a wretched life under the guise of faith and understanding. The hypocrites are among us, no matter what group we think we belong to, the hypocrites are lurking and what do we do about it? We take the hypocrites word as truthful and the truthful person's word a lie.

When I left Christianity 14 years ago, I thought I had found a perfect community in Islam. I mean, the perfect model was established, but the actual body was devoid of anything perfected. I soon found many, many liars and hypocrites exist in every single layer of society, rich or poor, educated or illiterate. I found just as much, if not more racism, rejection and cliques than one can ever find in the Church. No matter where I go, they are there. People caught up in Nationalism and color, people who are supposed to be the best of mankind, according to what Islam actually teaches, showing the rest of the world the example of how we should live and govern ourselves. In fact, I know far too many people who have come to Islam only to come to the conclusion that they should have just remained Christian.

Why is that? Because Arabs think Islam was brought only for them and are therefore exempt from the rules, what makes this any different than what the Jews think? Or, is it because you are Somalian or Moroccan and whoever isn't, is a heathen from non-Muslims bloodlines? And those Nationalists who say they are Muslim actually wonder why God has sent wraths on their homelands? See, not every hardship is a test, sometimes it's a punishment, so look to the doing of your own hands first. I have met too many people who don't like Palestinians because they have the reputation (and most Palestinians prove this reputation to be true) of being jerks.

The only reason any non-American Muslim should have ever come to America was to make dawah (to witness to people) and the vast majority only come here to contribute to making the American society even worse than what it already was. Hypocrites! And you wonder why it was so damned easy for them to label Muslims terrorists? Hypocrites! Did you think you could fake the cause of God and your honor and dignity would be left intact? Hypocrites! It is because all honor and dignity belongs to God. You come here and worsen the society, for instance, by selling Alcohol (when you knew it was wrong to do so) to an already ignorant, down-trodden, impoverished sector of society and think you will do this with your Deen (way of life) intact?

You think you can go anywhere in this world and assist in undermining the society by bringing your self-righteous attitudes while selling the poor welfare class even more poison? You thought Philistine would not be affected by your sins? Did you think when you sold that junkie a "love rose" (a small glass pipe, with a novelty ribbon rose in it, used for smoking crack) and Chore Boy right out of your harami (sinful) stores and bodegas, you would not see it again? Did you think God's words are untrue? The man who deals in khamra (alcohol, drugs, etc.) is cursed. You thought Somalia would not be affected? Did you think Syria and Iraq would not be affected? Did you think Egypt and Yemen would not be affected? Did you think Libya would not be affected? Hypocrites! The rest of us are equal in blame and guilt because we allowed you hypocrites to come and help destroy our country from the bottom up. And we have just sat back like fools and let you infiltrate and destroy what little goodness we had left and play us all.

The criminals from the top and the criminals from the bottom met directly in the middle destroying everything decent in their paths. But do you know the slickest trick of all, you foolish Arabs*? Is that when you came to this country, got yourselves a social security number and perhaps even married to get a citizenship. You did all of this and unknowingly sold your own selves and your children into slavery...so now Arabs, we are all Abid (slaves, niggers) to the Corporation and many of your are also Hiwanat (wild animals). So, the joke is really on you! When are we going to wake up? I don't mean sit around and complain, when are we actually going to do something about the wrongs done to us, the wrongs we have done to our own selves. When it's too late? Yes, it will be the day we are dragged by the thousands into FEMA camps.
